Core Educational Cooperative is seeking a School Psychologist or School Psychologist Intern for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Core Educational Cooperative is a multi-service agency consisting of thirteen school districts. It was established to assist the districts in providing specialized services identified as needed by the member schools. Currently, Core provides speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, educational evaluation and school psychology services to its member districts.
Applicants must hold or be able to acquire SD DOE licensure or university backing to practice school psychology.
Salary and benefits will depend upon education and experience. Employment incentives are available. The position will remain open until filled.

Substitute Teacher
​
Core Independent Center is seeking a dependable and student-focused Substitute Teacher to provide instructional support for secondary students with disabilities (ages 18–21). The substitute teacher will ensure continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher or classroom paraprofessional while maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in education or a classroom setting

Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred, but not required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide instruction to students following established lesson plans
-
Implement classroom teacher lesson plans as written

Support students in academic, social, vocational, and functional skill development

Maintain a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environment

Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional periods

Follow all district and building policies and procedures

Communicate effectively with school staff and administration
